Concore's Sudowoodo Card Art

This is the artwork for my entry for cscdgnpry's incredibly awesome Uniting The World project. You must join! This man knows his cards, and I love him for that.



I love Sudowoodo, the right balance of hard-hitter and oddball. He'd be my mascot were I a Gym Leader. This one seems to live on an allotment and has spotted that an Oddish has snuck in and is sleeping in its vegetable patch.

For me, the stand out card illustrations are always the ones that have Pokemon interacting with one another, or the Pokemon relaxing/having fun. Cleffa and Wooper from Neo, Drowzee from Aquapolisa and The Pignites from Legends Awakening, to name a few off the top of my head, so I wanted to try and replicate that.
