As the Battle Royale raged on, it worked its way deep inside Mount Challenger, the dimly lit caverns made finding and fighting an opponent even harder...

...Drowzee transmits his epic psychic powers along his scarf, that encapsulated all his opponents and lifts them into the air, whilst conjuring up an almighty flash that illuminates the battleground!

My entry for the BATTLE ROYALE! I'm part of over at the IPL
(And YAY for my debut submission for the IPL!) ^_^

The challenge, draw one Pokemon from all 14 entrants in a single splash battle!

I loved doing this! I'm really pleased with how this came out, although I'm glad it is over. I spent far to long experimenting with tones and shadow, before going back to using official colours and strong shadows, which now works best. Decided against a background as I felt it may detract from the image. I wanted Drowzee to me the centre of the image, but he has started to become lost, no? A break down of the rest of the competitors from top to bottom goes as follows;

Leashe's Altaria - Love Swablu, not so fond of Altaria, but I do like its face. Raichu is yanking the hell out of it's poor feathers. Quite like the shadow on the wings.

Phantos's Raichu - Having fun, swinging on Altaria, mocking Skarmory. Whats not to love. n_n

Airaquila's Skarmory - For the hardest one to draw, every image I found of it made it's anatomy and colourations different every time, but still fun to draw.

KawaiiSonicChao's Gorebyss - Hanging on for dear life, fun to draw.

Captain-Feces' Electivire - I love Electivire! The problems with my depiction is that a). He is too small b). He is missing his cord/wire/rope things c). The Pokemon around him changed so much that he looks a little out of place.

Static-mcawesome's Breloom - Just hanging, going with flow and enjoying life.

Onlylookin's Yanmega - Yeah.. well.. kinda forgot about him, until last minute, which is why is stuck in there like that. Tbh I want to forget about Yanmega full stop, Yanma is so epic he doesn't need to evolve! (but Yanmega does look cool as shiny though) n_n

Athens025's Natu - Poor Natu, being slobbered all over by Meowth. (Natu patternation is all screwed up). -__-

Merely-mango's Meowth - Just chomping away!

DurianDurian-Chan's Lickitung - Always like seeing Lickitung grabbed by the tongue and swung, cos I love his anime voice when he throws that thing around. ^_^

Concore's Drowzee /Sheppard/ - Thats me!

Lorenith's Ampharos - I really like Amphy, its great pokemon and fun to draw, here he is lifted up and spun round.

Wandering-ronin's Sandshrew and Noenvy's Bellossom - First Pokemon I drew were the Sandshrew/Bellossom pair, before the floaty scarf idea, which why they are grounded ( also they managed to dodge it cos they are so small). Poor Bellossom having the full force a stirring sandstorm right in the face.
