PokeStory - The Ascent of Pokeman

Having seen B/W version, THIS THING IS INCREDIBLE! There are some awesome artist that have created bespoke pieces just for this zine, based around the ideas exploration and adventure in the Pokemon World in collection of Illustrations, Comics, Short Story and everything inbetween! Artists including; PettyArtist, Ky-nim and so, so, so many more!

This is my contribution to the project, Allison and DJ unearthing cavepaintings depicting Pokemon and Man relationships in a pre-historic era, making the first steps to forging bonds, hunting for food and worshiping mysterious Pokemon. With Kalos being based on France, location of the many of the world most famous cave paintings (Lascaux, Chauvet Cave, Cave of Altamira) it seemed a fitting theme. It had always been something I thought worth exploring, and it was a shame that it wasn't exploited in Pokemon X/Y, instead choosing to go with Stonehenge type monuments as their ancient plot development of choice.
